卫星网络中基于链路误码率的主动队列管理算法

摘    要:由于卫星信道特点影响了宽带卫星通信网对终端用户的QoS保证,DiffServ是一种面向类的粗管道IP QoS技术,其简单性和良好的扩展性使其成为卫星网络IP QoS的首选方案。现有DiffServ研究并没有考虑卫星通信网误码率高、星上处理能力受限等因素,如果将其直接应用到卫星通信网中,会使性能下降。基于DRIO算法,结合卫星链路误码率高的特点,提出了适用于卫星IP网络的S-DRIO队列管理算法。该算法降低了误码率相对较高的流的分组丢弃概率,提高了占有带宽。理论分析和仿真实验表明,在信道误码率较高的卫星链路中,该算法能够更好地保证流之间的公平性。

Abstract:DiffServ is a kind of thick pipe IP QoS technology. The characteristics of satellite channels disturb the QoS guarantees of broadband satellite communication networks to end users, so DiffServ becomes the best QoS choice in the satellite communication networks because of its simpleness and expansibility. Currently,the characteristics of satellite communication networks such as high bit error rate and limited on board processing ability are not taken into account. If it is used in satellite communication networks without modification, the performance will decrease. Considering the high bit error rate of satellite link, a new algorithm called S DRIO was proposed for satellite IP networks based on DRIO. It reduces the packet dropping rate and increases the bandwidth of flows whose BER is much higher. Both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments confirm that a better guarantee for the fairness among flows can be archived with the algorithm in the high bit error rate of the satellite link channels.
