On the gauge invariance of the schrodinger equation |

| Abstract: | The problem of gauge invariance in relation to (approximate) calculations of molecular properties is considered. We show that these difficulties are not avoided by making a unitary transformation to a formalism which is independent of the electromagnetic field potentials. |
