| Abstract: | EPR study of the X-irradiated diamagnetic [Ni(CN)4)2? complex in an NaCl lattice, has identified two paramagnetic species. The spin-hamiltonian parameters have characterised these species as low-spin d7 and d9 complexes which may be represented as [Ni(CN)4Cl2]3? + 2 ? and [Ni(CN)4Cl2]5?, respectively. |
