| Abstract: | The reaction of pyrylium salts having a free or position with triphenylphosphine has given pyranylphosphonium salts. 2,4,6-Trisubstituted pyrylium salts do not react with triphenylphosphine. The properties and IR spectra of the compounds synthesized are discussed. |
