Abstract: | A new method for describing the rheological properties of reactive polymer melts, which was presented in an earlier paper, is developed in more detail. In particular, a detailed derivation of the equation of a first-order rheometrical flow surface is given and a procedure for determining parameters and functions occurring in this equation is proposed. The experimental verification of the presented approach was carried out using our data for polyamide-6.Notation E Dimensionless reduced viscosity, eq.
