| Abstract: | Methods were developed for the synthesis of dihydro and tetrahydro derivatives of imidazo-1,2-a]- and imidazo1,2-c]pyrimidine and imidazo2,1-b]-5-quinazolone from 2-amino- and 4-aminopyrimidines, 2-amino-4-quinazolones, and  -haloethanols or 1,2-dihaloethanes.
