Abstract:Dispersion polymerizations of methyl methacrylate (MMA) were conducted with various types of organic peroxides as radical initiator in the presence of trimethylsiloxy terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) in supercritical carbon dioxide. Micron-sized, relatively “monodisperse” poly(MMA) particles were prepared by using benzoyl peroxide.Part CCLII of the series “Studies on Suspension and Emulsion”
