| Abstract: | The compounds of general formula (amide)4H2(TeBr6), prepared by reaction of amides with hexabromotelluric acid, have been investigated spectroscopically. The spectral data are consistent with the crystal structure of (N,N-dimethylformamide)4H2(TeBr6), in which short hydrogen bonds (O ? O 2.44(2) Å) are present. |
