对目前广播电视新闻节目中大量使用方言的现象进行观照和分析,认为方言类新闻节目反映的是对新闻媒体本土化定位的错误理解,既不符合国家政策法规的要求,不利于普通话的推广和社会文明进步,也不利于中华民族的认同和社会力量的凝聚,在客观上将造成传媒歧视和文化分裂.因此,应在使用规范的普通话基础上追求广播电视新闻的本土化.

Is Language a Bridge or a Wall--Doubts and Questions on the Broadcasting and Television News Programs in Local Dialects

This paper analyzes the phenomena of using dialects in broadcasting and television news programs, and argues that such programs are a misunderstanding of the localization of news media, which is contradictory to the national policies and laws. They can be detrimental to the popularization of standard mandarin and progress of social culture, and weaken national identity and social cohesiveness, resulting in media discrimination and cultural separation. Therefore, the localization of broadcasting and television news should be tailored to popularize Putonghua.
