摘    要:In this paper,a general digital picture processing and texture analysis forphotoelasticity is developed Overcoming some defects of references2]and3], it presentsan effective method to analyse fringe patterns of the photoelasticity. By means of thetrignometric function relationship between the light intensity I and the image fringe orderN, the equations of the fringe order N on brightness Z are deduced and the mechanicalparameters are thus obtained We established a system of sigital picture processing andtexture analysis for photoelasticity, which is called OYC-l system. Finally, this system ischecked with an example. It is found that the differences between measured results and thetheoretical values are within 2.3 percent.
