Structure of kordiline

A new alkaloid kordiline has been isolated from the epigeal part ofKorolkowia sewerzowii. On the basis of the results of a study of the IR, PMR, and mass spectra of kordiline and the products of its transformations, it has been established that kordiline has the structure and partial configuration of 3,11-dihydroxy-⁸-cevanine.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent.
