| Abstract: | Two new covalently bonded carbazole-norbornadiene compounds with various chainlength have been synthesized and the intramolecular electron transfer isomerization of binarycompounds to corresponding quadricyclanes was observed.The structures of these two binarycompounds were identified by 1~H NMR,IR,MS and the relationship between conformationand chain length of binary compounds has been discussed. |
