| Abstract: | The effect of noise on the output parameters of a three-mirror system is investigated under the conditions when one of the cavities is filled with an amplifying medium and the other is empty. For weak coupling between the cavities, the amplitude noise at the outlet of the empty cavity decreases sharply, and the emission band becomes narrower than the natural bandwidth. Expressions are given for analyzing a more general problem on the statistical characteristics of laser radiation emitted by the three-mirror system with a weak noise. |
