Optimization of a cylindrical composite shell with a viscoelastic core in axial compression

Abstract:The problem of the optimal design of a composite shell in creep is formulated. The progressive buckling of a cross-wound reinforced cylindrical shell supported on a viscoelastic core is considered as a particular case.
