Excellent Extensions of Rings |

| Abstract: | In this paper we consider various properties of rings. whirch are shared by R and S when aring S is an excellent extension of a ring R. In particular, we show that when S is an excellentextension of R. if either ring is (i) left coherent. or (ii) right semi-heredilary, or (iii) a right S3lring in the sense that every semisimqple singular risht module is injective. or (iv) an almost Noetherianring in the sense that every finitely generated singular right module is Noetherian, or (v) a rightperfect ring. then so is another. |
