The alcohols (+)-carquejanol, (?)-neocarquejanol, (?)-isocarquejanol, and (?)-neoisocarquejanol are described, and their conformations and configurations are studied by IR., NMR. and mass spectroscopies. Isocarquejanol is a mixture of conformers approximatively 50:50 with, respectively, axial and equatorial OH.
