| Abstract: | The behavior of glass-reinforced plastic based on ASTT (b)S2-O fabric and NPS-609-21M resin in tension and compression normal to the plane of reinforcement has been investigated and the mechanical characteristics determined. Recommended values are given for the size and shape of the test pieces, and a method of determining the tensile and compressive characteristics of glass-reinforced plastics is proposed.Leningrad.
