Abstract: | In this study, the first visualization of distributed phase change effects and thermodynamical properties under high pressure have been carried out by means of HP-DPIV and HP-DPIT (High Pressure Digital Particle Image Velocimetry and Thermography) methods [1]. The main objective of this study was to investigate the thermofluiddynamical behaviour in the high pressure cell during Pressure Induced Thawing of Ice I, Pressure Shift Freezing of Ice I and Pressure Assisted Thawing of Ice III.
