The molecule contains a possibly significant asymmetric ether linkage between the oxacyclohexane ring and the highly anisotropic benzyl ring. The packing consists of zigzagged chains parallel to thea-axis formed by hydrogen bonds. The chains are separated by van der Waals contacts.
