Faraday rotation measurement with photorefractive Bi12TiO20

Abstract:A simple method for accurate measurement of Faraday rotation in materials with low rotation is developed using photorefractive Bi12TiO20. High optical activity of Bi12TiO20 is made use for this measurement. Detailed theoretical and experimental analysis is given.
