| Abstract: | The addition of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate to 3-methyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione ( 1 ), both in alcoholic medium and in inert solvents, has been investigated. When 1 was allowed to react with diethyl azodicarboxylate a disulfide 5 was obtained. |
