| Abstract: | Hexafluoroacetone trihydrate was shown to undergo an efficient carbonyl-ene reaction with a variety of alkenes in the presence of molecular sieves under microwave heating and conventional heating producing hexafluoroisopropanol functionalized derivatives in high yields. |
