| Abstract: | Pyrimidines are synthesized via a direct oxidative one-pot, three-component, reaction between 1,3-diketone, benzaldehydes, and ammonium acetate in the presence of catalytic amounts of Keggin-type heteropolyacids under refluxing conditions in good yields. |
