| Abstract: | Newly prepared six-coordinate MFe(edta)] (M=Li, Na, K, Rb) and seven-coordinate HFe(edta)(H2O)].H2O were characterized by Mössbauer spectroscopy. The hygroscopic six-coordinate complexes were found to have high-spin Fe3+ ions in distorted octahedral sites. |
