| Abstract: | Summary Clean and rapid micro analytical separations of metal ions of qualitative analytical groups 1 to 4 including some platinum metals have been made on silica gel G support by TLC using potassium thiocarbonate (PTC) as a complexing and visualising reagent. A review of the chromatographic behaviour of metal ions using PTC as a complexing and spray reagent in TLC is included. |
