| Abstract: | A new class of cage-like oligomers were selectively formed by hydrolysis and polycondensation of a methylene-bridged bistrialkoxysilane precursor in the presence of tetramethylammonium hydroxide, which led to the creation of novel silica-based hybrid materials. |
