Pulse source-system model and its amplitude versus frequency characteristics

Abstract:The pulse contains most of information on the body health. In recent years, scholars,both at home and abroad, have been greatly interested in studying human pulse information using the modern scientific technology and methods. In this paper, we study the features and the physical process of pulse signal gcncration and initially establish a pulse source-system model on the basis of the information theory, the system theory and the acoustical theory. The model is proved to be rational by experimental testing and the new signal analysis techniques-the Cepstrum and Liftering Techniques. In this paper, the structures and features of the pulse acoustical-spectral diagrams are analysed for the first time and several conclusions on the physiological features of the pulse transmission system are drawn.
