| Abstract: | Tricyclic core skeleton of manzamine A was constructed stereoselectively from the fused nitrogen-containing bicyclic enone 3 via a novel and efficient strategy including sequential stereoselective Diels-Alder reaction, Curtius rearrangement, and intramolecular lactam formation reaction. |
