| Abstract: | Conditions for the direct complexometric determination of magnesium in the presence of uranium, iron and aluminium are described. The method is based on the masking of uranium by hydroxylamine, and of iron and aluminium by triethanolamine. Methylthymol Blue is used as indicator for the EDTA titration of magnesium at pH 10. |
