| Abstract: | The synthesis of various permethacrylated mono- and disaccharides in acceptable yields is reported. The reactivity of these unusual polymerizable compounds has been investigated in diverse glycosidation reaction conditions. New original polymerizable donor sugars have been prepared successfully in good to excellent yields. |
