| Abstract: | An empirical method is reported for monitoring the long-term stability of a multiple semiconductor gas-sensor system. The method is based on control charts, modified for the multivariate data set. This modified is used to assess the data produced simultaneously from eight gas sensors on exposure to acetone over 102 days. It is shown that the multisensor system provides adequate long-term stability for recognition of gaseous materials. |
