Abstract: | For the determination of glucose and lactate by flow-injection analysis enzyme membranes are used, which usually have short operating times and poor reproducibilities. By combining enzyme cartridges and amperometric oxygen electrodes as detectors for the determination of glucose, lactose and maltose, operating time of up to 6 months and high reproducibilities were attained. Details of cartridge preparation and their use for monitoring broth components during cell cultivation and product formation are presented. |
