| Abstract: | A sensitive fluorimetric method for the determination of 1-(3-chlorophenyl)-4-methyl-7,8-dimethoxy-5H-2,3-benzodiazepine (5 × 10?8?6 × 10?4) g ml?1) is described. The method is based on acid hydrolysis and aldol condensation in alkaline solution to give a compound which shows intense fluorescence at 440 nm. |
