Hydrating peptides using a sprouting technique

A scheme for generating water coordinates, whose proton orientations are random, and simultaneously generating side chain coordinates of peptides, preparatory to studying solvation of peptides using molecular dynamics schemes is presented in an X-PLOR context. Examples from the Integrin and Tropomyosin systems are used to illustrate the procedure. © 1994 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
