| Abstract: | Summary Poly(5-vinyl salicylidene)-2-aminophenol homopolymer and polymer complexes of 5-vinyl salicylidene-2-aminophenol with transition metal acetates have been prepared and characterised by elemental analyses, i.r. and electronic spectroscopic, and magnetic moment measurements. The thermal stabilities of the polymer complexes were compared with the homopolymer and the activation energies of degradation were calculated. |
