Abstract: | Three new phenolic compounds, 5‐O‐(β‐apiosyl‐(1 → 2)‐O‐β‐xylopyranosyl)gentisic acid ( 1 ), 1‐O‐(β‐apiosyl‐(1 → 6)‐O‐β‐glucopyranosyl)‐3‐O‐methylphloroglucinol ( 2 ), and 15‐O‐(α‐rhamnopyranosyl)aloe‐emodin ( 3 ), together with the known compound aloe emodin ( 4 ), were isolated from the stems of Spatholobus suberectus. Their structures were characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods. The absolute configurations of the sugar units were not determined. |
