Abstract:The interference of two coherent ultrahigh-frequency waves incident normally on opposite faces of a transversely magnetized ferrite layer with negligibly small losses is investigated in the region of negative effective magnetic permeability. It is shown that a coordinate-independent energy flux is formed inside the layer as a result of tunneling interference. The ferrite layer can be made antireflective for appropriate values of the external field and the phases and amplitudes of the incident waves. Zh. Tekh. Fiz. 67, 77–80 (October 1997)
