Abstract:A novel strategy to fabricate hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor was developed by electrodepositing palladium? silver nanoparticles (NPs) on a glassy carbon electrode. The morphology of the modified electrode was characterized by Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The result of electrochemical experiments showed that such constructed sensor had a favorable catalytic ability, high sensitivity, excellent selectivity towards reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The response to H2O2 is linear in the range between 0.30 μM to 2.50 mM, and the detection limit is 0.1 μM (at an S/N of 3).
Keywords:Modified electrode  Hydrogen peroxide  Palladium  silver nanoparticles
