Abstract: | Blends obtained from polyamide 6 and a thermoplastic polyurethane compatibilized by diblock copolyurethaneamides were investigated by means of DMTA and DSC. The blends were prepared by compounding in a Brabender mixer. The compatibilizer affected the glass transition temperature of the amorphous phase of the blends. The non-isothermal crystallization temperature of the polyamide phase was lowered in the presence of the polyurethane and the copolyurethaneamide.
