| Abstract: | 1-Bromo-1-cyclopropyl-2-methyl-1-propene (7) does not react with cyclohexene and AgSbF6 with formation of the expected cycloadduct 9. The first generated cyclopropylvinyl-cation 8 rearranges to the allyl-cation 10 which after addition to the olefins cyclohexene and 2,3-dimethyl-2-butene (19) via unusual rearrangements gives the dienes 17 and 20 respectively. |
