| Abstract: | Exocyclic coordination of macrocyclic thioethers to germanium(ii) halides leads to infinite chains (with weak GeX bridges between the chains) or sheet structures containing distorted octahedral Ge(ii) with [S(2)X(2) + X(2)] coordination and bridging thiacrowns. |
