Abstract:A method based on the surface force pore flow model to characterize the pore size and pore size distribution of polymer porous filtration membranes was reviewed. The method concerned the interfacial interaction force parameters between the probing molecules and the membrane and friction force parameters, and the effect of concentration polarization and measuring pressure. The rejections of experimental value coincided with the calculated value, thus it could give accurate pore size and pore size distribution of filtration membranes.
