| Abstract: | Let Mn(k) denote the family of posets on n points with k ordered pairs that maximize the number of linear extensions among all such posets. Fishburn and Trotter [2] prove that every poset in Mn(k) is a semiorder and identifies all semiorders in Mn(k) for k  n. The present paper specifies Mn(k) for all k 2 n – 3. |
