Abstract:Researches on clay/polyolefin nanocomposites have been reviewed. Both the thermo-dynamic and kinetic analyses for the formation process of clay/polyolefin nanocomposites are elucidated. The preparation and characterization of the structures and properties of clay/PE, clay/PP nanocomposites are elaborated with emphasis on the in situ polymerization intercalation compounding.
