| Abstract: | The design of the shaping structure of the color TV set case is complex and time-consuming. The CAD methodology using the features concept for the design is discussed. A 3-D model consistent with the mode of thinking of the designer and the design features is developed. Using this model, the designer will be released from routine operations and enabled to devote his talent completely to the creation of new patterns. The generating process of a 2-D view typically involved in a 3-D pattern matching between feature definitions and a B_Rep solid model is also discussed. Feature recognition is described for a specific CAD environment. |
