Bond percolation threshold in the simple cubic lattice

In the simple cubic lattice, for bond-percolation our Monte Carlo simulation gives a value of p_∞ = 0.2492 ± 0.0002, in contradiction to a recent speculation of Sahimi et al. (p_∞ = 0.25273) and to the possibility $\text{p}{}_{\mathrm{\infty }}\text{=}\text{1}\text{4}$.
