摘    要:本介绍了使用于10Gbit/s以太网技术的激光器优化新一代50/125um多模光纤,这种多模光纤在10Gbit/s局域网系统中850nm波长的传输距离大干300m,具有经济性,兼容性和易于升级的特点。长飞公司的超贝光纤系列符合相关的国际标准,相应的传输距离可以达到150m,300m,和500m以上。

Abstract:In this paper, the new generation laser-optimized 50/125um multi-mode optical fiber is introduced. This fiber is used in 10Gbit/s Ethernet for Very Short Reach application, its transmission distance at 850nm wavelength can reach up to 300m over with low-cost VCSEL (Vertical cavity Surface Emitting Laser) based transceivers under 10Gbit/s bit rate Ethernet conditions. Low-cost and compatibility are special advantages of this type of fiber. MaxBandR series is this laser-optimized 50/125um multimode fiber offered by YOFC, their transmission distance reach up to 150m, 300m, and 500m over respectively.
