Abstract: | A ligand of N-2-(furylmethyl iminodiacetic acid) (FMIDA) has been easily labeled by a tetradentate chelating agent of [99mTc]. Factors like a stannous chloride solution as a reducing agent (100 μg), substrate amount (100 μg), pH (7), in vitro stability (8 h) and temperature (37 °C) have been systematically studied to optimize high radiochemical yield (98.0%). The radiochemical conversion was calculated on thin-layer chromatography, paper electrophoresis, and high performance liquid chromatography. Biodistribution study showed that this complex was removed from the kidneys and bladder path way during 1 h post injection. Therefore, [99mTc]FMIDA may be used as renal function radiotracer. |
