| Abstract: | In this paper, we obtain an improved discrete Wirtinger inequality associated with a nonlinear second order differential equation. We apply this result to prove a Bonnesen-style isoperimetric inequality for plane polygons and reinterpret the main theorem as a weighted exponential inequality. |
