Abstract: | An overview of the analytical applications of quaternary ammonium halides is presented. These compounds are used as titrants in the potentiometric determination of a large number of inorganic and water-soluble organic anions. Topics discussed are titrants, electrodes, inorganic and organic applications, unusual stoichiometrics, and possible separations. |
